NATO VIRTUAL or NATO-V is a laid-back but dedicated community of military aviation enthusiasts who love flying, teamwork, and realistic operations. We’re a tight-knit group made up of former military members and passionate aviation players who share a common goal: running immersive, user-created operations and training missions in a supportive, team-focused environment. Whether it’s coordinated strike packages, structured training nights, or jumping into high-intensity PvP servers, there’s always something happening. What we do
At NATO-V, we bring military aviation to life through immersive, team-driven experiences. We design and run custom-made operations that range from coordinated strike missions and close air support to air superiority and large-scale joint campaigns. Every mission is built with teamwork and realism in mind, giving everyone a meaningful role in the fight. We also host structured training sessions to help sharpen skills whether you’re learning the basics, mastering advanced tactics, or refining communication and coordination as part of a flight. Our goal is to make every member more confident and capable in the air. And when we’re ready to test our skills, we deploy together onto competitive PvP servers, working as a coordinated unit against real players in high-pressure environments. Train together. Multi-Squadron Structure
NATO-V is built around a growing collection of dedicated squadrons, each with its own identity, mission focus, and beautifully handcrafted skins designed by VirginsCustoms. Here’s a look at what we currently fly:
35th Fighter Wing (35th FW)
Our F-16 side of the wing combines the 13th and 14th Fighter Squadrons into a versatile, modern combat force. We train and operate using contemporary tactics across air-to-air, air-to-ground, SEAD, CAS, and beyond. If you love the Viper and modern multirole operations, this is where you’ll thrive.
VMFA-224
Our premier carrier strike squadron, flying the F/A-18C and F-14. VMFA-224 specializes in naval aviation and carrier-based strike operations, often taking point on frontline missions. Expect high-tempo sorties, coordinated deck launches, and a strong focus on naval tactics and employment.
Helo Wing (Coming Soon)
We’re currently in the process of standing up a dedicated helicopter squadron. More details are on the way, stay tuned. And if you don’t see your preferred airframe listed, don’t worry. We support all currently available DCS airframes and open new squadrons as demand grows. If you and your friends want to fly something specific, chances are we can make it happen. We’re also planning ahead for upcoming modules, with future squadrons already in mind for aircraft like the Eurofighter, Tornado, Rafale, and more.
